o   The Moon will transit in Virgo throughout the day. On June 24, 2026, at approximately 00:55, it will enter Libra.

o   The Sun will transit in Gemini and Sagittarius Navamsh. From 12:40 PM (IST) on June 22, 2026, the Sun will transit through the Ardra Nakshatra until July 6, 2026.

 

Tithi

o   Shukl Paksh Navami – According to Vedic astrology, this is the ninth day of the waxing phase of the moon (Shukl Paksh). Navami is primarily associated with Mahesh Navami and Goddess Durga. It offers excellent cosmic energy for spiritual practice, performing remedial measures, overcoming obstacles, and triumphing over competitors.

o   The Navami Tithi is influenced by Goddess Durga and the Ashtavasus; it is naturally suited for taking bold steps, overcoming hurdles, and initiating challenging tasks.

o   Additionally, we should also keep in mind that Navami is considered a 'Rikt' (empty) Tithi. Therefore, it is generally not considered auspicious for starting new businesses, signing long-term commercial contracts, or embarking on major journeys, as these endeavours may face delays.

o   On the other hand, when the Navami (ninth day) of the Shukl Paksh (waxing phase of the moon) falls on a Tuesday, it creates a powerful blend of the Moon's grace and the energy of Mars—the planet of courage, strength, and determination. This is a highly energetic time for overcoming obstacles and dedicating oneself to spiritual growth.

o   Ram Navami and Maha Navami (celebrated twice a year) are major festivals in Hinduism, which we celebrate with great fanfare. Both are celebrated on a grand scale in honour of the supreme power that destroys evil and malevolent forces. These festivals glorify the power of faith on earth, depict the struggle between good and evil, and inspire people to fight against any form of negativity.

Vaar

o   Tuesday – This day is influenced by the planet Mars, which bestows abundant vitality, physical energy, courage, and determination. It is considered an excellent day for competitive events, sports, administrative tasks, and taking bold initiatives.

o   The nature of this day is swift and fiery. Traditionally, it is considered too harsh for peaceful ceremonies such as weddings or housewarming rituals. If emotions are not kept in check, there is a heightened risk of heated arguments, discord, or accidents on this day.

o   There is a long-standing tradition among Indian business communities of avoiding Tuesdays for starting new ventures or conducting financial transactions.

o   It has been observed that traders refrain from launching new businesses, signing major contracts, or commencing construction work on Tuesdays. It is believed that projects initiated under the fiery influence of the planet Mars may encounter issues such as conflicts, disputes, and hasty decision-making.

o   It is believed that one should strictly avoid borrowing or lending money on Tuesdays. According to traditional belief, a loan taken on this day takes a very long time to repay, whereas money lent out may never be recovered.

o   Tuesday is traditionally considered a day reserved for spiritual activities rather than business dealings—such as visiting temples dedicated to Lord Ganesh or Lord Hanuman, or repaying old debts instead of incurring new ones.

Nakshatra

o   Hast – Its ruling planet is the Moon, and its symbol is a closed hand or fist, representing skill, craftsmanship, and the ability to bring something to fruition. Its Varna (social class) is Vaishya (merchant class). It is highly auspicious for intellectual pursuits, learning new skills, artistic activities, trade, and healing-related work.

o   It falls under the sign of Virgo, which is ruled by Mercury and symbolizes organization, intelligence, and precision.

o   Additionally, the Hast Nakshatra governs physical dexterity, intellect, and the power to manifest desires. It is highly favourable for healing, craftsmanship, and trade.

o   Since Hast is a Nakshatra characterized by swift and light (kshipra) energy, its energy is fleeting. It is less suitable for tasks requiring stability, rigidity, or the ability to remain in a single state for a prolonged period, as its energy demands constant activity and rapid change.

o   Body parts influenced by Hast Nakshatra: intestines, abdominal glands, and enzymes.

o   Diseases associated with Hast Nakshatra – Vitamin B deficiency, gas formation, bloating, loose motions, intestinal pain and disorders, shortness of breath, intestinal worms, diarrhoea, typhoid, amoebic and bacillary dysentery, fear, and hysteria.

o   Professions associated with Hast Nakshatra – Salesperson, mail-order business, shipping and clearing agent, textile and yarn industry, lawyer, sanitary inspector, export-import, politician, and ambassador.

Please note:

o   Today, three distinct energies converge to make this day highly potent—the alignment of Hast Nakshatra, the ninth day of the waxing moon (Shukl Paksh Navami), and Tuesday brings together the energies of the Moon, the Sun, and Mars.

It is an excellent day to initiate technical, physical, or creative projects. The energy of the Hast Nakshatra is characterized by a spirit of service; on a Tuesday, this translates into making bold, firm decisions to help others or engaging in acts of charity and philanthropy.

Yog

o   Variyan – This means "excellent" or "supreme," and its presiding deity is Kuber, the treasurer of the gods. People born under this Yog are often considered "wealth magnets," with a natural inclination towards luxury, comfort, and financial success.

o   Since the presiding deity of this Yog is Kuber—the god of wealth—it is considered highly auspicious for taking constructive steps to improve one's life.

o   Despite enjoying worldly pleasures, individuals born under this Yog often harbour a deep, inner longing for spiritual peace and hold virtuous deeds in high regard.

o   However, its defining characteristic is an innate business acumen, resulting in a lifestyle abundant in wealth, comforts, and material success.

Please note –

o   This is a highly auspicious and beneficial Yog (astrological combination). It brings comfort, wealth, and a life of luxury. It is excellent for socializing, purchasing items for comfort, and engaging in activities that provide personal happiness.

o   However, it has been observed that the comfort-oriented nature of this Yog can sometimes lead to laziness, complacency, or excessive indulgence. It lacks the sharp focus required for strict and rigorous discipline.

o   Since this planetary combination tests your ability to remain humble despite possessing wealth, you can consciously choose challenges to curb the desire for comfort. Undertake projects that require active management to sustain your dedication.

o   Engaging in physical activities—such as regular walking or performing routine daily tasks with strict discipline and consistency—breaks Tamas (lethargy) and awakens Rajas (the energy for action).

o   During the transit of the Hast Nakshatra, natives born under the Purva Bhadrapada Nakshatra may face a very difficult phase, whereas the period will be less challenging for those born under the Punarvasu and Vishakha Nakshatras; however, they too may encounter ups and downs.

 

Karan

o   Kaulav – This is a movable (char) Karan influenced by the Moon, making it highly flexible and gentle. Therefore, it is an excellent time for expressing love, strengthening friendships, and resolving ongoing conflicts in relationships.

o   Additionally, it is a great time for networking, teamwork, and socializing. It fosters artistic endeavours, design work, and creative thinking.

o   Since this is a 'moving' (char) Karan, it lacks stability. It is not considered suitable for permanent tasks, such as laying the foundation of a house.

o   A strong malefic influence on the Hast Nakshatra or the Lagna (Ascendant) may cause fluctuations in one's state of mind or lead to hesitation during important business discussions.

o   Remedy for today – Avoid making firm or permanent commitments that require long-term stability, and spend time with family members.

o   Following up on my previous post, in which I tried to explain the significance of 'Karan' (even though it was just a spontaneous thought), today I am attempting to share my views on the importance of the 'Panchang' regarding one's day of birth and our daily lives.

o   Classic astrological texts such as Muhurta Chintamani, Maansagari, Hora Ratnam, and Jatak Bharanam, as well as Varahamihir’s Brihat Samhita, contain a wealth of information on this subject that is never incorporated into birth chart analysis in modern times.

o   The Panchang at the time of birth influences our emotions, temperament, and nature. It can provide deeper insight into who we are and how we feel. It can amplify planetary influences and endow us with additional traits that cannot be discerned solely from the birth chart (natal chart).

o   The Panchang sustains the birth chart and imbues it with essential energy. This aspect has rarely been properly understood; we often analyze birth charts without considering the energies present at the moment of birth.
