Prarbhdha Karma & disease -
“Purva Janama Krutham Paapam Vyaadhi
roopaena baadhitham “
Means: Any bad Karma done by us in the past or in previous birth will manifest in the form of disease (Vyaadhi roopaena) and make us suffer from its consequences. (Among so many diseases which keeps troubling us, as one of the diseases).
Prarbhdha,
it is virtually certain amount of data (of previous Karmas) allotted for this
life (as per the capacity allotted for this present incarnation). The Karmic
burden accumulated is so huge that it will take many births to discharge them.
Thus, one thing is clear that it is the nature who defines the Prarabdh, and accordingly
an allotted time period is given to mitigate /that one could handle. It is
destined to be worked out in this birth. One cannot avoid, however, can be
altered with his virtuous karmas in this birth.
