Jupiter Starts moving Retrograde and coming back to Gemini Sign

 

Jupiter starts moving Retrograde from November 11, 2025 till March, 2026

 

From November 11, 2025 - Jupiter will start moving in retrograde motion in its exalted sign. While in retrograde state, it will return to its previous sign Gemini, which is MARAN KARAK STHAN for Jupiter. The transit of Jupiter is often seen as affecting all the major aspects of a person's life for about a year.

 o   Jupiter entered in Gemini on 14th May 2025; it stayed in Gemini for only 127 days and moved forward into Cancer sign, exalted sign, on 18th October 2025.

o   It will again transit back to Gemini from 05 December 2025 in retrograde motion and will remain in Gemini however, will start moving forward in Gemini from 11th March, 2026. This tenure of Jupiter in Gemini will be of 149 days and total spending in Gemini is 276 days.

o    During its transit in the airy sign Gemini, it has revealed very unexpected results.

 

Since Jupiter is the significator of life (Jeev Karak Grah), therefore, events occurred during Jupiter's transit in Gemini (from May 15 2025  onwards ) are as follows –

o   From May 07, 2025 to May 11, 2025- Operation Sindoor was carried out by the Indian Army. This incident occurred when Jupiter was in the second phase of the Gandant position in zodiac sign Taurus and the Mrigashira nakshatra. The operation followed a period of heightened tension till date.

o   June 2025 – Fatal crowd crush in Bengaluru during IPL celebrations. On 4 June 2025, a crowd crush occurred in Bengaluru, India, during the celebrations of Royal Challengers Bengaluru's maiden Indian Premier League title win. Eleven people were killed and 56 others were injured in the crush. On this fateful day, Jupiter was in Mrigashira Nakshatra and also was in Paap Kartari Yoga.

o   July 2025– Heavy monsoon rains, cloudbursts, and landslides in Himachal Pradesh kill at least 43 people and leave 37 missing. Similar deaths and heavy damage occurred in Punjab, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand.

o   October 2025– Several cases of sexual assault, including gang rape, were reported.

 

o   10th November – A car bomb explodes in a crowded area near the Red Fort in Delhi, killing eight people and injuring 24. An investigation is underway.

 

This fatal incident occurred today, just before 26 hours of retrograde movement of Jupiter, can be connected with above incidents as major planets. As Major planets do give strong indications (both cosmically and in individual horoscopes) when they are about to change signs, or change motion (from direct to retrograde or vice versa).

 

Keeping in mind the series of incidents occurred from the month of May and onwards, (during its stay in Gemini Sign), therefore it can be predicted that unexpected results can further be seen from 11th November till 02 June 2026, let us understand the reason behind unexpected results during this period.

 

o   Point to note that Rahu will remain aspecting Jupiter throughout its stay in Gemini, and the impact of Rahu can be felt more severely, when retro Jupiter comes back to Gemini sign again on 11th November.

o   Jupiter and Saturn are in mutual Kendra; thus, another malefic planet is influencing Jeev Karak Planet. Saturn is placed in Jupiter’s Rashi, Pisces.

o   Saturn stared moving retrograde in Pisces from 13th Jul, 2025 and will remain retro till 28th November 2025.

o   From 14th May till 13th June, Jupiter was in the nakshatra of Mars and thereafter, till 13th August, it was in the nakshatra of Rahu, passing through two malefic planets, thus impacting Jeev very badly.

o   And from 13th August, it entered into its own nakshatra, Punarvasu, Since July No major incident reported related to loss of mass life force.   

o   However, From 11th November till first week of December, very crucial time period, particularly from the loss of Jeev /life force as there will be three major planets moving in retrograde motion. Rahu and Ketu always remain in retro motion, so if we add R/K, overall five planets will be retro and all planets have been assigned very vital role to play in human life.   

 

The above events nearly confirm that Gemini is Maran Karak Sthan for Jupiter. The Jeev element is severely affected in this zodiac sign.

Keeping in mind other planetary positions, apart from the loss of life, its transit in Gemini can give excessive thinking and confusion, mental audacity, misunderstanding in communication or delay in travel, and tendency to over-promise.

 o   Looking at the positive side, it can also a good time for investments, provided the natal Jupiter is strong in your horoscope, and if it is retrograde in the horoscope, then phenomenal results can be expected during this period.

o   The strong position of Jupiter in Gemini can be seen from 16°.40’ to 20°.00’ and from 23°.20’ -26°.40’ as well as from 26°.40’ – 30°.00’. The first two positions bless the planet to it its maximum results due to Pushkar Navamsh, and the last position is Vargottam Navamsh. Jupiter is also strongly placed in its exalted sign, Cancer, but this position is up to 3°20'. The peak exalted (highest) position is up to 05° in Cancer sign.

o   Presently it is moving in Cancer sign, thus we can say that Jupiter keeps the essence of its factor at pure level. It is three times more powerful when it is near its peak exaltation degree. However, Jupiter must be completely untainted, meaning free from any malefic influences, in these positions. Otherwise, the full extent of positive results cannot be achieved.

o   According to classical texts of astrology – retrograde auspicious planets (especially Jupiter) are more powerful, hence, it can give good results and it enhances better decision-making ability and it can give immense financial and material gains. However, from a health perspective, issues pertaining to health, are unavoidable. This means that retrograde planets are sure to cause health problems.

o   Jupiter controls the organs like liver, pancreas, spleen etc. in the body. That is, if Jupiter is retrograde and inauspicious/debilitated or in weak position, in the birth chart, then the person may suffer from such diseases, during its Dasha-Antar Dasha period.

o   This can negatively impact relationships with husbands for women. It is worth mentioning that Jupiter governs relationships with husbands and male person, so as mentioned, women may feel that they can do better with their spouse/ male friends and may think about changing them.

o   If Jupiter is retrograde in the natal chart, the native becomes over-optimistic and unconventional as well, and thus loses opportunities.

o   Being the significator of finance and gold, Jupiter plays a significant role from a financial perspective. Retrograde Jupiter can be responsible for slow marketing in business and can also slow economic expansion for as long as it remains retrograde.

o   The price of gold witnessed a significant increase when Jupiter was not retrograde and hence, it played a significant (unexpected) role during the above- mentioned degrees of Jupiter in Gemini. And when it moves from retrograde to direct motion, we may see an unexpected surge in gold prices.

 o   If you are born with retrograde Jupiter, in that, when it is retrograde in transit, it may give rise to your problems. Those born with Jupiter retrograde will be motivated to recover what they lost. Businesses may need to apply for more refund requests, loans, or discounts.

 

o   During Jupiter retrograde period, avoid putting pressure on the liver by overeating or consuming too many complex fatty foods, dairy, and heavy milk products like cheese. Jupiter also governs the pancreas, so it will be important not to eat too many sweets or overindulge in all kinds of rich foods.

o   Further to add that - Jupiter is connected to the liver, the store house of the body, which has major functions in the body, and can be slowed by this transit, particularly if you have Retro Jupiter and having some sort of connection with malefic planets, in natal chart or have a tendency toward liver problems.

o   If you are Pisces or Sagittarius born (Either having Lagan or Moon in these Rashi), and Jupiter is retrograde in the horoscope or if other than Jupiter, major planets of your horoscope are between 29 degrees -02 degrees in Gemini or Cancer, one may be more affected by the planetary positions or if you are running  the Maha dasha or Antar dasha of Jupiter.
