 Education - Responsible Houses in Horoscope

v  It is the mother (4th house), the first person to enter into the child’s life, she is the one who brings the child into this world and right from day one of his/her birth, she takes care of everything and the learnings begin.  She is not only responsible for the growth as a child but for every aspect of life. In Vedic astrology, 2nd house represents the “sanskar”, the basic /primary education starts from immediate family. This is the house of possessions as well, therefore, whatever he receives from family, will go along in his life.

v  To understand the level of education, it is necessary to study the second house. The primary education is to be analyzed through the second house. This house is about the education that a child receives from his home. It also tells us about the rituals that a child learns in the early stages of his life. This house plays a vital role as the primary education of a child forms the foundation of his educational life.

v  Fourth house - is associated with Mother and all sorts of happiness. This house is studied to know more about educational status till school life. This house also tells us more about higher education. This house covers the primary as well as secondary education of a child.

v  Fifth house - is for knowledge, remembrance, wisdom, about music, concentration, luck. The fifth house also outlines whether native would be able to achieve educational degrees like B.A, B.Sc. etc.

v  The ninth house - is about the philosophical education, mainly the higher education like Philosophy, Science, Literature, imagination, analytical power, and the higher / professional degrees such as MBBS, LLM, PhD etc. Once the child begins to understand the world, the role of father (9th house – the dharm) becomes important because he has an exposure to the outside world (the skills of life) and how to tackle the outer world. He is such an important person (nevertheless, after mother) for helping him for higher assessments. It is the father who takes the child to next level of life, seeking a higher possibility, a guru is must, who guides the understudy to achieve the ultimate goal of life. You owe your mental, intellectual, emotional and spiritual development to your Guru. If you are successful, dev or the divine is a natural reality. These all are just making a statement about the natural process of life.

v  It would be hasty decision without considering the role of 8th house in education (higher education), without its blessings, native would not accomplish his research & related studies, therefore, negating the importance of 8th house would lead to incomplete analysis.

v  Therefore, from education perspective, considering above factors, we need to explore these houses i.e. 4th,2nd,9th,5th, and 8th house, and their lords, the planets posited in these houses etc.
